


Paulette Sabato Hartman is a multimedia artist based in Los Angeles. Her work reflects the natural world and the humanness of the artistic process. She strives for multimedia exploration and embraces controlled chaos in her creative endeavors. She graduated from Tyler School of Art with a degree in Metalsmithing/Jewelry/CAD-CAM in 2023. Her educational and professional background has provided her with skills in both jewelry design and fabrication, covering rapid prototyping, post-production, and finishing processes.
Hartman's dual education at both Tyler School of Art and MICA has trained her in the conceptual realm and the professional training arena. Her material knowledge extends from metals, plastic, wood, to glass. This summer, she was a Studio Assistant at Penland for Mallory Weston’s class on Vibrant Color and Titanium Anodizing. Paulette brings over 5 years of experience with both Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling. Her primary skill set in 3D modeling incorporates a workflow in software such as Rhino 7, Blender, Z-Brush, and Meshmixer. She has hands-on jewelry experience, including wax carving, casting, mold making, soldering, engraving, and stone setting.
